We made it!

We survived the move to Texas! It was quite a whirlwind of packing, loading, cleanup, organizing, yard work, getting our house ready to rent out, and saying our goodbyes. We had the best fall season yet in Utah so that was a nice way to leave. And we lucked out with our neighbor friends having their baby 5 days early, just in time for us to meet their little girl before we headed out!

So far Texas has treated us well. We're staying in a hotel at the moment until our moving van arrives. But Alli and I went to check out the house today and we love it. Met one of our neighbors who seems extremely friendly and was, go figure, heading to Utah for a week vacation. And a special surprise to Alli, Uncle Bud, made a visit to welcome her to Texas! As soon as we got off the plane Alli climbed in, so Eric snapped a picture. Then she rolled around on the ground next to a man waiting for his flight. I guess she was happy to move around after the 3 hour flight!
