Ocean Isle Beach

For an early celebration of Mom's 70th birthday (which isn't until September), my family all traveled to Ocean Isle Beach, NC for the week over July 4th.  Eric and I decided to road trip it.  My parents rented a house that could fit all thirteen of us and it worked out great!  We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather.  We celebrated Mom's 70th birthday as well as my niece Mary Layne's sweet sixteenth birthday.

4th of July parade right outside our driveway.  It was the longest parade (in a good way).  We were amazed at the numbers of decorated golf carts.  Real creative ones too.  They all tossed candy so Alli ended up with a bag full of candy that kept her busy for our road trip home.
