Penny turned 18 months in December. "Penny Do It" is the theme for the month. She likes to put her boots on herself (and try on all of our boots), walk instead of being carried whenever possible (she is a good hand holder though!), brush her own hair, help get the diaper changing supplies ready, dust the baseboards, vacuum, you name it. Thankfully she's a really good communicator, so that seems to minimize the number of tantrums we might otherwise experience (for now, at least)! She's in the 90% for height (33.25") and 74% for weight (24lbs 6oz).

| Penny loves to wear this puppy backpack around the house like her big sister wears a backpack to school everyday. |

| Penny took this baby and put it in the cradle and pushed it around the floor saying "Daddy's lap. Whee". I finally figured out she thought it looked like the sled when she went sledding with Eric. |
Penny knows her Sesame Street Characters. Not that she'll watch the show for very long, so I guess she's learned them from our books and toys??
Cookie Monster, nom nom nom
No Picture!!
Lately Penny wants to read to herself before we read to her at bedtime
