A Long Cold Week

Last week was a cold-to-the-bone week. The kids didn't get to play outside during preschool due to the temps and we surely weren't going outside at home either! So, needless to say, it was a looong week and we had to get creative indoors. Eric was away for a couple nights for work and I was spent by Friday evening. Thankfully we are getting a little break and today is actually in the low 50's, yeah! We busted out all the baby toys from storage which made for hours of fun for both Penny and Alli.  On Friday I tried to get us a spot at 'open gym' gymnastics at the YMCA and it was booked by the time we called at 8:45 am!  Guess all the other parents had the same plan.
A nice chilly Thursday morning.  Thank goodness the freezing weather disappeared by this Monday.
Food faces
Penny learned she can root around in a bin of toys.
Making indoor snow.
Our snow didn't quite turn out the way we hoped, so we couldn't build 3D.  Flat snowman it was (with accessories)!
Penny's first magazine arrived!  "Highlights Hello".  It's a cute baby-sized magazine.
Getting out all the toys!
Happy to have Daddy home
